If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 17, you may only use the App after verifiable parental consent has been obtained (see \"Minor Accounts & Parental Consent\" below)."},{"title":"Description of Service","content":"FamilyCamp is a family planning and coordination application that provides shared calendars, task lists, event scheduling, routines, milestone tracking, and family communication tools. Reminders and push notifications are delivered in each family member's own local time zone, so a reminder set for \"9:00 AM\" arrives at 9:00 AM wherever that member is. We offer a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription (\"FamilyCamp+\") with expanded capabilities.\n\nFamily Ownership: Each family has a single owner — the adult account holder responsible for billing and family management. The owner may transfer ownership to another adult member of the family at any time from Settings → Family Management → Transfer Ownership. For the protection of minors and to ensure a responsible billing and consent contact, a minor (a user under 18) can never hold, inherit, or be assigned family ownership.\n\nNot a co-parenting or custody tool: FamilyCamp is a general-purpose family organization and coordination app. It is NOT designed, intended, marketed, or warranted to be a co-parenting, custody-management, or legal record-keeping tool. It does not provide separated co-parent household spaces, custody or visitation scheduling, expense-splitting or reimbursement tracking, or tamper-evident, court-admissible records, and it must not be relied upon for any of those purposes or in any custody, divorce, or other legal proceeding. If you need a dedicated co-parenting solution, please use a product built and certified for that purpose."},{"title":"Family Membership & Joining","content":"How Members Are Added: A family is created by an adult account holder, who becomes its owner. Members are added through a controlled invite-and-approval process — there is no way for someone to be added silently or without their own consent:\n• Every family member must first create and hold their own FamilyCamp account (which includes providing a date of birth for age-gating and verifying their email address). We do not create profiles or accounts on behalf of other people, and there are no unmanaged \"child profiles.\"\n• The family owner shares the family's invite code with the person they wish to add. Entering the code does not join the person to the family automatically; it creates a pending join request.\n• A family admin (owner) or parent must review and explicitly approve each join request before that person becomes a member. A request can also be rejected. This human approval step is the consent gate for admitting a new member.\n\nResponsibility of the Approving Adult: By approving a join request, the approving admin or parent confirms that they know and intend to add that person, authorizes that person to access the family's shared information (see \"Data Sharing Within a Family\" below), and takes responsibility for who they admit to their family. If the person joining is a minor (aged 13–17), that minor must still complete their own age verification and verifiable parental-consent process described in \"Minor Accounts & Parental Consent\" — approving a join request does not replace, and is separate from, parental consent.\n\nRoles: The family owner (admin) may assign each member a role of parent, member, or child. Roles govern in-app permissions; only the owner may change roles, and a minor may be marked as a child but can never be assigned ownership.\n\nData Sharing Within a Family: When you join a family, your name, display name, avatar, assigned color, and role, together with the events, lists, tasks, routines, milestones, and messages you create or share within that family, become visible to the other members of that family in accordance with each item's visibility settings. You choose what to share by creating content within the family, and you can leave a family (see \"Termination\") to stop sharing going forward. Children cannot remove themselves from a family; a parent or admin must do it for them.\n\nRemoving Members: A family admin or parent may remove a member at any time from Settings → Family Management. Removing a member revokes their access to that family's shared information."},{"title":"Account Registration","content":"You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account, including your date of birth. Your date of birth is stored in our database for the lifetime of your account and is used for age verification. We also record the date, time, and version number of your acceptance of these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.\n\nEmail Verification: You must provide a valid email address that you own and control. To confirm ownership, we send a one-time verification code to that address which you must enter in the App; access to your account may be limited until your email address has been verified. Keeping a current, verified email address is your responsibility, as it is used for essential account communications such as password resets and, for minors, parental-consent handling.\n\nProviding a false date of birth to circumvent age restrictions is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination."},{"title":"Minor Accounts & Parental Consent","content":"Age Restrictions:\n• This App is strictly off-limits for children under 13 years old. Users under 13 are not permitted to create an account, access the App, or use any of its features under any circumstances. The App will block registration for anyone under 13 and no personal data will be stored.\n• We do not collect, store, or process any personal information from or about children under 13. There are no child profiles, managed accounts, or any other mechanism for storing data about children under 13.\n• Users aged 13–17 (\"Minors\") may create an account subject to verifiable parental consent.\n• If we learn that a user under 13 has circumvented age verification, we will promptly delete their account and all associated data.\n\nTeen Consent Process (Ages 13–17):\n• During signup, Minors must provide a parent or guardian's email address. The Minor does not need to know the parent's age, account status, or any other personal information about the parent.\n• A consent email is sent to the parent containing Approve and Reject action links. The parent's identity is verified through access to the email address provided.\n• Before approval is processed, the consenting parent or guardian must verify their age by providing their date of birth on the consent page. Only adults aged 18 or older may approve a minor's account. If the parent already has a FamilyCamp account, the provided date of birth is cross-referenced against the one on file for additional identity verification. The parent's date of birth is used solely for age verification and is not stored beyond this purpose (unless the parent has their own account).\n• The Minor's account is placed in \"pending\" status until the parent responds. While pending, the Minor cannot access any App features.\n• Consent links expire after 7 days. The Minor can request a new consent email from within the App.\n• This process is designed to comply with COPPA's verifiable parental consent requirements and with the California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act (CAADCA, Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1798.99.28–1798.99.40) requirements for age-appropriate data protections.\n\nParental Controls:\n• Upon approval, the parent can manage the Minor's account permissions from the Parental Controls screen in Settings.\n• Parents can control: location access, Smart Add (AI) — the AI-powered Quick Add feature, uploading photos (to family chat and the Photo Journal), saving/downloading photos from the Journal to a device, exporting personal data, and account deletion.\n• In-app purchases are ALWAYS disabled for minor accounts and cannot be enabled — a minor can never start, approve, or manage a purchase or subscription, regardless of any other setting.\n• Default permissions for approved Minor accounts: location access (off), Smart Add AI (on), upload photos (on), save/download photos (on), data export (on), account deletion (off). In-app purchases are permanently off for minors and are not a toggle.\n• Parents may revoke consent at any time, which fully restricts the Minor's account until consent is re-granted.\n• Parents may delete their Minor's account and all associated data at any time, directly from the Parental Controls screen in Settings.\n• A Minor can never be made the owner of a family. Family ownership — which carries billing responsibility — is reserved for adult members. If ownership would otherwise fall to a minor, the family is not transferred to them (see \"Termination\").\n\nFeature Gating for Minors:\n• Minors are subject to permission-based feature restrictions controlled by their parent, consistent with the CAADCA's requirement to provide a high level of privacy by default for users under 18.\n• Features that are restricted will display a lock indicator and a message explaining that parental permission is required.\n• Minors whose parental consent is pending or rejected cannot access any App features.\n\nParent & Guardian Responsibilities:\n• By approving consent, you acknowledge that you are the Minor's parent or legal guardian.\n• You accept responsibility for monitoring and managing the Minor's use of the App.\n• You can review the Minor's activity summary (events, tasks, family memberships) from the Parental Controls screen.\n\nEmail Delivery:\n• Consent emails are sent via our email service provider (SendGrid). If you do not receive the consent email, please check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder and add admin@togetherlee.com to your safe-sender list."},{"title":"Subscription & Payment Terms","content":"FamilyCamp+ Subscription Plans:\n\n• Monthly Plan: $13.99 per month.\n• Annual Plan: $109.99 per year (equivalent to about $9.17/month — a 34% saving versus paying monthly) — our best value. Includes a 1-month free trial for new subscribers.\n\nAll plans are a single flat price that includes your entire household — up to 12 family members — at no extra per-member charge.\n\nBilling & Auto-Renewal:\n• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date.\n• You will be charged the applicable subscription fee at the start of each billing period.\n• For the annual plan with a free trial, you will not be charged during the 1-month trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.\n• Prices are shown in USD as reference prices and may be subject to applicable taxes.\n• Regional and Localized Pricing: The Apple App Store and Google Play display and charge subscription and top-up prices in your local currency for your region, which may differ from the USD reference prices above because of currency conversion, local taxes, and store price tiers/rounding. The exact price presented to you on the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase — and to which you affirmatively consent — is the amount that governs and that you will be charged.\n• Restore Purchases: If you reinstall the App or move to a new device, you can restore an active subscription or previously purchased AI top-up pack at any time using the \"Restore Purchases\" option on the subscription screen. Restoring simply re-links an existing purchase to your account and never creates a new charge.\n\nPayment Processing:\n• All purchases are processed securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, to verify your purchase and manage your entitlement. We never receive, process, or store your credit card, debit card, or other payment details — these are handled entirely by Apple or Google.\n• By subscribing, you authorize the applicable app store to charge your payment method on file on a recurring basis until you cancel.\n• If a payment fails, the app store may retry the charge, and we may suspend premium features until the payment issue is resolved.\n• Account suspension does not stop your billing. If your account is suspended, restricted, or limited — including by our moderation team for a Terms or safety violation — your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription still continues to auto-renew and charge your payment method on file; a suspension is not a cancellation. You remain responsible for cancelling the subscription yourself in your store subscription settings to stop future charges, even if you can no longer access some or all features of the App.\n\nAI Quick Add Parses & Optional Top-Up Packs:\n• FamilyCamp+ families receive a monthly allowance of AI-assisted \"Quick Add\" parses at no additional charge. Turning AI parsing on or off does not change your subscription price.\n• If you use up the monthly allowance, you may optionally purchase a one-time top-up pack of additional parses (currently $3.99 for 100 extra parses; the exact price and pack size are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase).\n• Top-up packs are a ONE-TIME, non-recurring charge. They are NOT a subscription and do NOT automatically renew — you will never be charged again unless you choose to buy another pack.\n• Purchased parses do not expire while your account is active and are shared across your whole family.\n• Only a parent or admin on a FamilyCamp+ plan may purchase a top-up pack. In-app purchases are ALWAYS disabled for minor accounts and cannot be enabled — a minor can never start, approve, or complete a top-up purchase, regardless of any other setting. The App enforces this at the payment layer, so a restricted account cannot initiate an Apple App Store or Google Play purchase under any circumstances.\n• All top-up payments are processed securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive, store, or have access to your card details."},{"title":"Cancellation & Refund Policy","content":"Cancellation:\n• Because your subscription is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you cancel it in your store subscription settings. In the app, tap Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription to open them directly, or go to Apple (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).\n• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date.\n• No partial refunds are given for unused portions of a billing period.\n\nRefund Policy:\n• Because all purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are issued by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies — we do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly, though we're glad to help you through the process (admin@togetherlee.com).\n• Annual plan: New annual subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase (not a renewal) through the App Store or Google Play.\n• Monthly plan: Because of its shorter billing cycle, new monthly subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase (not a renewal) through the App Store or Google Play.\n• Longer store windows: These windows are our satisfaction-guarantee commitment for your initial purchase. Beyond these windows, you may still request a refund directly from Apple or Google on any charge, including renewals, under their own policies (for example, Apple generally considers refund requests made within 90 days of purchase). We honor any refund that Apple or Google grants.\n• Free trial: If you cancel during the free trial period, no charges will be made.\n• One-time AI parse top-up packs: Because extra parses are a digital good that is delivered and available for immediate use upon purchase, top-up packs are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law. EU/EEA consumers: by completing the purchase you request immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that your 14-day right of withdrawal is lost once it has been supplied.\n• App Store / Google Play purchases: Refunds for purchases made through app stores are subject to the respective store's refund policies (Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084, Google: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637).\n• Effect of a granted refund: When Apple or Google grants a refund, we remove the corresponding benefit at the time the refund is processed. For a FamilyCamp+ subscription, your family's premium access ends immediately and all FamilyCamp+ features are locked across every member of the family — this includes both creating or editing premium content and viewing premium-only content already in your account (for example, Routines, the Birthday & Anniversary Tracker, family messaging, AI Quick Add, and other premium tools). Your underlying data is retained but becomes inaccessible until an active FamilyCamp+ subscription is restarted; free-tier features remain available. To regain access to premium features, you must purchase a new subscription. For a one-time AI parse top-up pack, the purchased parses are deducted from your family's shared balance (your balance is never reduced below zero).\n\nLong-Term Cleanup of Dormant Lapsed-Premium Content: When your FamilyCamp+ subscription ends — whether by cancellation, non-renewal, a failed payment, or a granted refund — your premium content is retained but locked, as described above, so that you can regain access by resubscribing. However, if your subscription stays lapsed AND no member of your family signs in to or uses the family for an extended period of at least 9 months, we may permanently delete the locked premium-only content to free up storage. This cleanup removes only premium-only content — specifically Photo Journal photos, family chat messages and their photo attachments, routines, and birthday/anniversary milestones (including the associated files in cloud storage). Your account and your free-tier data — such as calendar events and your shared list — are preserved. Content that is subject to a legal-hold or preservation obligation (for example, content preserved for reporting to the authorities) is excluded from this cleanup and retained as required by law. Because this cleanup is disclosed here and you accept these Terms when you create your account, we do NOT send a separate warning email before it runs. You can always avoid it by keeping an active subscription or by exporting your data (Settings → Privacy & Data → Export My Data) before your subscription lapses.\n\nEU/EEA Consumers:\n• Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. If you have used the service during the withdrawal period, a proportionate amount may be deducted. To exercise this right, contact admin@togetherlee.com."},{"title":"Price Changes","content":"We may change subscription prices at any time. Photo (image) attachments you send in family chat, and the photos you add to the Photo Journal, are stored in secure cloud storage (Amazon Web Services S3). For safety, only images (photos) may be uploaded anywhere in the App — PDFs and other document types cannot be attached or shared. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than delivering the service.\n\nStorage & Upload Limits: To keep the service reliable and fair for every family, photo uploads are subject to the following limits:\n• Each individual image may be up to 15 MB in size.\n• Each FamilyCamp+ family has up to 10 GB of total shared cloud storage, counted across all photos combined — both the photo attachments sent in family chat and the photos added to the Photo Journal.\n• Across the whole App, each family may upload up to 250 new photos per calendar month. This monthly limit is shared and counts every photo you add — the photos you add to the Photo Journal AND the photo attachments you send in family chat all count toward the same 250 total. (This is separate from the 10 GB storage allowance above; both limits apply.)\nWhen a limit is reached, the App will tell you and you can free up space by deleting existing photos (or, for the monthly Photo Journal limit, add more photos the following month). You agree NOT to create, upload, post, or share any content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, hateful, obscene, sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers a minor, or that otherwise violates the rights of any person.\n\nBy using the App you agree that:\n• You are solely responsible for the User Content you create and share.\n• Objectionable content and abusive users are strictly prohibited and are grounds for immediate removal.\n• We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to review, screen, and remove any User Content, and to suspend or terminate any account, at any time and without prior notice, if we believe it violates these Terms.\n\nRight but not obligation to monitor: You acknowledge and agree that we have the RIGHT, but NOT the OBLIGATION, to monitor, access, review, screen, and moderate any and all User Content, and to investigate and take appropriate action against any User Content or user in our sole discretion. We are under no duty to monitor User Content, and we assume no responsibility or liability arising from the content of any User Content or from any failure or delay in monitoring, removing, or acting on it. Any decision to monitor or moderate does not create an obligation to do so in any other instance.\n\nDisclosure to authorities (you must accept this to use the App): You agree that any User Content that we suspect to be illegal — including, without limitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content that sexually exploits or endangers a minor, or content that depicts, facilitates, or solicits other criminal activity — may be preserved and disclosed, reported, or released to law enforcement, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and other proper authorities, and to their agents and service providers, at any time, with or without notice to you, as we deem necessary or appropriate or as required or permitted by law. Where we suspect content involves the exploitation of a minor, we will preserve the content and associated account information and report it as required by applicable law. Content preserved as suspected CSAM or minor-exploitation material is kept on a legal hold for at least one year (18 U.S.C. §2258A(h), as amended by the REPORT Act of 2024) and for as long thereafter as required by law or as requested by NCMEC or law enforcement; it is excluded from account deletion and from all automated data cleanup. Such a report to NCMEC or other authorities is filed automatically through NCMEC's CyberTipline electronic reporting system (as an Electronic Service Provider) as soon as reasonably possible, and may include the preserved content itself together with associated account and technical information — for example the uploader's email address, name or display name, account-creation date, the IP address linked to the content and an approximate location (city, region, and country) derived from it via a third-party IP-geolocation service, the device/browser User-Agent, the account time zone, the names and email addresses of the other family members who could have received or viewed the content (its intended recipients), and the cryptographic hash values (SHA-256 and MD5) of the preserved file. Our system files these reports automatically and, if a filing does not go through on the first try, retries it automatically; if automated filing still cannot be completed, we file the report manually, so a required report is never dropped. If law enforcement contacts us about a report, we refer them to NCMEC, which coordinates disclosure of the preserved content to the appropriate agency. The IP address used to derive this approximate location is standard network metadata captured automatically with every upload; it is separate from the optional GPS location feature, and turning off, revoking, or never granting location access does not prevent its capture or its inclusion in a CSAM report, because it is required for this legally mandated reporting. By using the App and by creating, uploading, or sharing any User Content, you expressly consent to this monitoring, preservation, and disclosure.\n\nAutomated AI moderation: In addition to the rights described above, all User Content you create is automatically screened by an AI content-safety agent at the moment it is created, before it is saved or shown to other members. This applies across the entire app and to every family on every plan — including free-tier families: the text of calendar events (titles and notes), shared list names, task/to-do items, milestone names, and routine names and their checklist steps is screened as text; member display names and your family name are screened as text; and chat message text and photo captions are screened as text, while uploaded photos are screened as images (including any text, links, or QR codes visible within them). This automated system may block clearly violating content from being posted at all, allow but flag borderline content for human review, and, where content is suspected to sexually exploit a minor, preserve it and suspend the responsible account for reporting to the authorities (see \"Disclosure to authorities\" above). From time to time we may also re-screen User Content that is already stored in the App using our current automated systems — for example after our detection rules are updated — so that content posted before a change is also checked against the latest safeguards. This periodic auditing is performed by automated systems.\n\nConversation context for child-safety screening: When screening a chat message for child-safety risks, our automated system may also consider a limited number of recent preceding messages in the same conversation thread as context. This context is used only at the moment of screening and only for child-safety detection, and it does not collect any new data.\n\nThis automated screening operates regardless of the language you write in: it is designed to detect objectionable content in many languages, not only English, and photos are screened for objectionable imagery as well as for any text visible within them in any language. Because our safety system can only clear content it is able to read, text written in a language our automated system cannot reliably recognize may be blocked or rejected at the moment you try to save it; if that happens, please rewrite your content in a widely used language (such as English) so it can be safely screened. Like all AI systems it is not perfect.\n\nPaired content (image + text) is treated as one item. Where a single item contains both a photo and accompanying text — for example, a chat message that has both a photo attachment and a text message, or a Photo Journal photo with a caption — both halves are screened together and treated as a single item. If EITHER the image OR the accompanying text is suspected to sexually exploit a minor, the ENTIRE item is withheld and is never posted or shown to anyone, is preserved on a legal hold, is reported to the authorities as a single combined report that includes every part of the item, and the responsible account is suspended. No part of such an item is ever published merely because only one half tripped the detection, and the suspected material is never deleted before it has been screened and preserved. For safety, uploads are limited to images (photos); PDFs and other document types cannot be uploaded or shared. Automated moderation is not perfect: like all AI systems, our content-safety agent can make mistakes, and false positives (content wrongly flagged or blocked) as well as false negatives (objectionable content not caught) may occur. If you believe your content was wrongly blocked or flagged, you may contact us at admin@togetherlee.com to request human review.\n\nHow to report or block:\n• In Family Chat, long-press any message to Report it for human review, or to Block the member who sent it. Blocking immediately hides that member's messages from you; you can manage blocked members in Settings.\n• In the Photo Journal, open a photo and tap Report to flag it for review.\n• What can be reported: reporting is available for the content most likely to carry a person-to-person safety risk — individual chat messages and photos (both photos shared in chat and photos saved in the Photo Journal). Other content you create — such as your family name, list names, list and to-do items, calendar events, routines, and milestones — is not individually reportable from within the App; it is still automatically screened by our content-safety system.\n• Report responsibly: please file reports in good faith. We keep a record of the reports you submit and their outcomes, and repeated false, abusive, or spam reports are themselves a violation of these Terms and may result in action on your account.\n• A family administrator can also remove any member from the family at any time (Family → member → Remove from family), which immediately revokes that member's access to the family's shared content.\n• We review every report and act on objectionable content and abusive users — including removing the content and/or ejecting the user responsible.\n\nOur moderation capability: We (Togetherlee, LLC) maintain an operator-level moderation process that lets authorized personnel investigate reports and, where warranted, review User Content in any family, permanently delete any individual chat message, suspend or terminate any user's account — temporarily locking that user out of the App (they are signed out and cannot use FamilyCamp) until we lift the suspension — and remove any member from a family, including the family owner. We may suspend an account whenever we deem it necessary to enforce these Terms or to protect the safety of the community, with or without a prior report. When an owner is removed, family ownership is automatically reassigned to an eligible adult member (a parent or member, never a child) so the family's shared data is preserved; removal of an owner does not by itself cancel or transfer that person's app-store subscription, which remains governed by their Apple or Google account. We may take any of these actions at our discretion, with or without a prior report, to enforce these Terms.\n\nWhat our operators can and cannot see: Your content is private. Unless an item is flagged for review — either reported by a human family member, or preserved as suspected child-exploitation material — no operator reads your messages or opens your photos. Absent such a flag, your calendar events, lists, milestones, chat messages, and photos are not accessible to our operators at all. Our moderation console is deliberately limited when it comes to your CONTENT. Ordinary family content — the actual text and images of your calendar events, shared lists, milestones, and everyday chat messages and photos — is NOT browsable by our operators. What our operators CAN see, without any report, is account- and family-level information rather than your content: a searchable directory of families, in which a family can be looked up by its family name or its family ID and is listed with its name, its number of members, a count of how many chat messages it contains (a number only — never their text), whether it is on a free or premium plan, and the date it was created; and, for any family, its member roster, showing each member's display name, email address, role (owner, parent, member, or child), the date they joined, and whether their account is currently suspended. This account-level view is what lets us locate the right account to act on a report or a safety matter, and it also powers an internal cost-and-usage overview (per-family counts such as how many items were automatically screened, storage used, and plan). It does NOT let us read your messages or open your photos: an operator can read the text of a specific message only when a human family member has reported that message for human review. When an item is reported, the operator also sees who filed the report, the account identifiers of the member who created the reported item (their name, email address, and account-creation date), and — so that we can detect and act on misuse of the reporting feature — an indicator derived from how many reports the reporting member has previously filed and how many of those were dismissed. For content on the child-safety (CSAM) path we additionally capture the limited network and device metadata described elsewhere in these Terms. Content that was flagged only by our automated AI scanner, and never reported by a person, is not shown to our operators: for such items they see only metadata and the AI's reason — never the message text, and never the image. Where a photo (or its accompanying text) is suspected to be CSAM or other minor-exploitation material, it is withheld from us by design and transmitted to NCMEC automatically and server-to-server at the time it is detected, with only its cryptographic hashes and metadata remaining visible in the console. The preserved IMAGE can NEVER be viewed, opened, downloaded, exported, emailed, or screenshotted through the console under any circumstances. The preserved TEXT is likewise withheld by default, subject to one narrow exception: if the automatic report to NCMEC does not complete — for example it fails, or automated reporting is unavailable — an authorized operator may use an audited \"break-glass\" control to reveal the preserved text solely in order to file the legally mandated CyberTipline report by hand. Every such access is recorded in a tamper-evident audit log identifying who accessed it, when, and the stated reason, and it triggers an alert to the business owner, so no access is ever silent; the revealed text is used only to complete that report and remains otherwise unviewable, uncopyable, unexportable, and unemailable. Aside from this narrow, logged manual-filing path, there is no function anywhere in our console to send, copy, or export the preserved content to anyone — including to law enforcement. If law enforcement needs the content, we refer them to NCMEC, which holds it and coordinates disclosure to the appropriate agency."},{"title":"AI-Assisted Features","content":"FamilyCamp includes a \"Quick Add\" feature powered by artificial intelligence (AI). This feature processes text you enter to automatically create calendar events or tasks.\n\n• AI can make mistakes. The AI may misinterpret your input and produce results that are incorrect, incomplete, or unexpected — for example, the wrong date, time, title, location, or family-member assignment, a duplicated item, or a missed detail. AI Quick Add is a convenience aid to speed up data entry; it is NOT a substitute for your own judgment. You are solely responsible for reviewing every event, task, and detail the AI creates and for correcting anything that is wrong before you rely on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FamilyCamp and Togetherlee, LLC make no warranty and give no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any AI-generated result, and are not liable for any missed appointment, scheduling error, or other consequence arising from reliance on AI output. This disclaimer is in addition to, and does not limit, the \"Limitation of Liability\" section of these Terms.\n• AI processing occurs in real-time and your input text is not stored after processing.\n• We do retain limited, non-content operational metadata about each AI request — the number of parses performed, token counts, the character length of the input, your family identifier, and a timestamp — for usage-accounting/billing, cost control, and abuse prevention. This operational metadata does NOT include the actual text you typed.\n• The AI does not access your account data, family information, or personal information beyond the text you submit.\n• No automated decisions are made about you based on AI processing.\n• FamilyCamp+ families receive a monthly allowance of AI Quick Add parses at no extra charge; once it is used up you may add items manually for free or buy an optional one-time top-up pack (see \"Subscription & Payment Terms\").\n• You can always manually create events and tasks without using the AI feature, and a parent or admin can turn AI parsing off entirely for the family at any time in Settings → Smart Add (AI). When it is off, no text is sent to the AI provider.\n• Forfeiture of the free monthly allowance on disable: because the monthly AI parses are a complimentary benefit provided at no additional charge, turning AI parsing off immediately forfeits any unused portion of that month's free allowance. Free parses do not carry over and are not restored if you turn AI parsing back on within the same month — the free allowance replenishes only at the start of each calendar month. This forfeiture is disclosed to you and requires your confirmation in the app before it takes effect.\n• Purchased top-up parses are NOT forfeited: any additional parses you have paid for remain fully available to you while your account is active, regardless of whether AI parsing is turned on or off.\n• For minor accounts, Quick Add (Smart Add) is subject to parental controls. In addition to the family-wide Smart Add (AI) setting, a parent can disable AI Quick Add for an individual minor from the Parental Controls screen in Settings using the dedicated Smart Add (AI) permission. When disabled for a minor, no text from that minor is sent to the AI provider and Quick Add falls back to manual entry."},{"title":"Acceptable Use","content":"You agree not to:\n• Use the App for any unlawful purpose\n• Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals\n• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems\n• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation\n• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the service\n• Use the App to transmit spam, harass others, or distribute harmful content\n• Copy, scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data or content from the App by any automated means (including bots, crawlers, or scripts)\n• Access the App other than through our official published clients, or build, distribute, or operate an alternative, unauthorized, or competing client, product, or service using our systems or API\n• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security feature, rate limit, access control, or usage limit\n• Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise commercially exploit the App or access to it"},{"title":"Intellectual Property","content":"The App — including its name, logo, design, user interface, graphics, code, software, and all related branding and trademarks — is owned by Togetherlee, LLC. Your notice must include: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (3) identification of the material you claim is infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it; (4) your contact information (name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address); (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.\n\nDesignated Copyright Agent: Togetherlee, LLC — DMCA Agent, admin@togetherlee.com, 112 E Amerige Ave Ste 213, Fullerton, CA 92832-2832.\n\nUpon receiving a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to permanently remove (hard-delete) the allegedly infringing material — including any stored copy of the underlying file — and, where appropriate, notify the user who posted it. Because the removal is a permanent deletion rather than a temporary hide, we record an internal audit entry for every takedown (the item removed, who requested it, the notice reference, the reason, and the date and time) so that we retain a defensible record of the action even after the content itself is gone; this audit entry contains only metadata about the takedown and not a copy of the removed material. If you are that user and believe the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same agent containing: (1) your signature; (2) identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal; (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and (4) your name, address, and telephone number, together with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your judicial district (or, if you are outside the United States, the Central District of California) and to accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.\n\nRepeat infringers: It is our policy to suspend or terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers. You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Danger Zone (subject to parental permission for Minor accounts). Upon deletion, your data is permanently and immediately removed. Because subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings to stop future charges.\n\nSuspension does not stop your store billing: If we suspend, restrict, or limit your account — whether the suspension is applied automatically or by our moderation team, and whether for a Terms violation or a safety reason such as suspected child-exploitation content — that suspension does NOT pause, cancel, or refund your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Your subscription continues under the app store's terms and will keep auto-renewing and charging your payment method on file until you cancel it yourself. You remain solely responsible for managing and cancelling your subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings (in-app: Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription; or directly with Apple or Google) to stop future charges, and this responsibility continues even while your account is suspended and even if you can no longer access some or all features of the App. Because we do not process payments, we cannot cancel, pause, or refund a store subscription on your behalf; any refund is handled solely by Apple or Google under their policies.\n\nLeaving or Being Removed from a Family: You may leave a family at any time from Settings → Family Management; the family owner must first transfer ownership to another adult member before leaving. A family admin (owner) or parent may also remove another member. Children cannot leave a family on their own — a parent or admin must remove them, consistent with the protections for minors. Leaving or being removed ends your access to that family's shared information going forward and stops any further sharing with you. Content you previously created and shared within the family (such as events, lists, routines, and milestones) is reassigned to the family owner or another remaining member and remains with the family for the other members who relied on it, rather than being deleted. If you want your own copy first, export your data (Settings → Privacy & Data → Export My Data); if you want your personal data erased entirely, delete your account. Leaving or being removed from a family does not delete your FamilyCamp account or cancel any subscription.\n\nFor Minor accounts: if a parent revokes consent, the Minor's account is fully restricted until consent is re-granted. A parent or legal guardian may also delete the Minor's account and all associated data at any time directly from the Parental Controls screen in Settings, or by contacting admin@togetherlee.com.\n\nFamily Ownership on Deletion: If the owner of a family deletes their account, ownership (including billing responsibility) is automatically reassigned to another adult member of that family so the shared family data is preserved for the remaining members. A minor is never assigned or promoted to family ownership. If deleting the owner's account would leave the family with no remaining adult members, the entire family — and all of its shared data — is permanently deleted rather than leaving a minor as owner."},{"title":"Email Communications","content":"During account registration, you acknowledge and agree that Togetherlee, LLC will send you essential service emails by checking the email-acknowledgment checkbox on the sign-up screen. We record the date, time, and version of this acknowledgment. These emails are transactional communications necessary to operate your account (our lawful basis is performance of our contract with you, not marketing consent), and are not sent for marketing purposes. These essential transactional emails include but are not limited to:\n• Email verification codes\n• Password reset codes\n• Parental consent requests (for Minor accounts)\n• Subscription confirmations and cancellation notices\n• Payment failure notifications\n\nThese are service-related communications necessary for the operation of your account and are not marketing emails. Because they are required to operate your account (for example, to verify your email address and reset your password), acknowledgment of these essential emails is a condition of creating an account. This acknowledgment is not marketing consent and does not authorize any promotional email. All emails include instructions for ensuring delivery (checking spam/junk folders and adding our sender address to your safe-sender list).\n\nService & Product Update Communications: In addition to the transactional emails listed above, we may from time to time send you service-related emails about material changes to the App or the services we offer — for example, notices of new, changed, or discontinued features, scheduled maintenance or service-availability notices, important security or privacy notices, and changes to these Terms or our Privacy Policy. These are operational, service-related communications about a product you actively use, not marketing or promotional email; our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping you informed about the service and, where applicable, performance of our contract with you. Because they are necessary to operate your account and to keep you informed of legal and safety changes, you cannot opt out of essential legal-change and security notices while you maintain an account. Genuine marketing or promotional emails are separate and are never sent without your distinct, opt-in consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting these essential service and update communications. We never send marketing or promotional emails to any user under 18.\n\nMinor Accounts (Ages 13–17): A minor cannot, on their own, provide legally binding consent. For users aged 13–17, essential service emails sent to the minor's own email address (such as email verification and password resets) are authorized by the verifiable parental consent obtained during the parental approval process described in \"Minor Accounts & Parental Consent\" above. By approving the minor's account — which requires the parent or legal guardian to verify their identity and age (18+) — the parent or guardian consents, on the minor's behalf, to the minor receiving these essential service communications. The parental consent request itself is sent to the parent or guardian's email address, never to the minor. A parent or guardian may revoke this consent at any time by revoking account consent or by contacting admin@togetherlee.com; doing so restricts the minor's account. We do NOT send marketing or promotional emails to any user under the age of 18 under any circumstances, and we do not condition the minor's use of the service on receiving any non-essential email.\n\nWe do not send unsolicited marketing or promotional emails. Any future marketing or promotional communications will require separate, distinct opt-in consent that you may withdraw at any time without affecting your essential service emails.
